Tesla Model S: Brake Wear after 70,000 Miles
Showing the Brake Wear after 70,000 miles and 2 harsh and Salty Wisconsin Winters.
Brakes have minimal wear, and are in excellent condition. Only mild surface rust on the rotors, including in the cooling slots between the two halves. Most of the wear, is the occasional "Brake Check" to clean off the surface rust to prevent squealing.
I would say they will last a very very long time, and will need to be replaced eventually due to rust then actual wear. I guesstimate at least 200,000 miles until replacement necessary.
